-
All tournament registration will be through Universal Tennis Rating (UTR.) Scores will be updated to the website as well following the weeks after the tournaments.
-
Make sure that if you are registering your child, you put in THEIR name, birthday, gender, skill level, etc. when you create the account and take the skill placement quiz. You can use your email but you will have problems registering due to age/gender restrictions set on each division if a parent puts their own information on the profile.
-
For Doubles tournaments, MAKE SURE YOUR PARTNER IS ALREADY REGISTERED ON UTR BEFORE YOU TRY TO SIGN UP FOR THE TOURNAMENT.
-
Tournaments will take place at various tennis courts in Utah County and South Salt Lake County.
-
Based upon registration numbers there will likely be different start times or multiple locations. Look for an email the night before the tournament that has your estimated start time. There will be wait times between each match, the length of which depends on the number of participants.
-
All players will play at least 2 matches. It is not a true double elimination bracket, but rather there will be a consolation bracket. If you have questions about this, feel free to check with the tournament site director at the tournament.
-
The tournament could take 2-6 hours in total with a start time varying between 8 AM and as late as 1 PM, depending on the division and the size of the tournament.
-
Registration will close the Wednesday before the tournament at 10 AM.
-
There are 5 divisions in each category that you can sign up for based on ability and experience. (See division explanation below)
-
The age limit is usually 11-19 for yellow ball and Orange Ball tournaments are for grades 4-6, though we will have a couple of no age restriction tournaments.

Division 1 - Top High School Varsity level players
-

For Orange Ball (4th-6th Grade) we have three divisions. One division is for more experienced players (Advanced); one division is for intermediate players (Intermediate). The 3rd division is for beginners and is more of an intro-to-match-play clinic where beginner players will be paired with other players by the coach to play a series of short doubles matches with the help of the coaches. Players in the Beginner division do not need to have their own partner to participate.
